Ho soggiornato in questa bellissima villa per un’occasione speciale: la mia notte prima delle nozze. La proprietaria Stefania é stata gentilissima e ospitale, fornendoci ogni confort possibile, mettendosi a nostra completa disposizione e permettendo l’accesso in villa anche ai fotografi e ai make up artists.
La villa è fantastica, finemente arredata e dotata di tutto il necessario (aria condizionata, cucina attrezzata, etc). Risulta facilmente accessibile grazie alla presenza di un ascensore, dettaglio non trascurabile soprattutto in Costiera amalfitana, e gode di una vista spettacolare su uno degli scorci più affascinanti del territorio.
Inoltre, il borgo di Castiglione in cui si trova la villa permette di poter visitare in modo strategico la Costiera.
Non smetteró mai di ringraziare la signora Stefania per aver contribuito a rendere unica una giornata così importante per me e la mia famiglia, il cui ricordo rimarrà immortalato in fotografie eccezionali scattate in questa location unica.
This has to be one of the best travel experiences we've ever had! We stayed at the Villa Cliff House when we visited Amalfi Coast as part of our tour of Italy, and we could not have chosen a better place. It was the perfect ending for our time in Italy. The villa has to be one of the best located venues in Amalfi, the views are just spectacular and breathtaking. From there you can see the beauty of the sea and the mountain come together.
In all my travelling I have to say that Stephania and her husband are the best hosts that I have ever come across, their hospitality is on another level, it's as if they were made for this. Stephania was kind enough to pick us up from Amalfi, and helped us out with our luggage - since this was our last stop after two weeks of traveling we had quite a bit of luggage and she helped make things so much easier for us. She also helped with arranging a transfer to Salerno for us - she truly goes out of her way for her guests.
The unit that we stayed in was well stocked and had everything we needed and more! The place is so much better than pictures can say! You just have to see it for yourself! Our only mistake was not staying longer, for our next visit we will stay longer, and yes we are definitely coming back! Thank you so much for your hospitality.
La mia famiglia ed io abbiamo avuto la fortuna di soggiornare a Villa Cliff durante quello che è stato il weekend più bello della mia vita: il weekend del mio matrimonio.
Ho scoperto questo meraviglioso angolo di paradiso, nel posto più bello del mondo, quasi per caso. E ancora oggi penso che sia stato uno dei casi più belli della mia vita, perché questa splendida dimora ha accompagnato me e la mia famiglia nei giorni che hanno preceduto il nostro matrimonio, diventando parte di un ricordo che porterò per sempre nel cuore.
Da dove iniziare? Ogni volta che ripenso a quei giorni mi viene ancora una lacrimuccia, perché è stato tutto semplicemente perfetto. E una parte di questo meraviglioso ricordo è sicuramente merito di Stefania, la gentilissima proprietaria, che ha accolto me e la mia famiglia con una cura, una premura e un'attenzione davvero speciali.
Fin dal primo momento Stefania ha capito quanto fosse importante per me quel weekend. Già mesi prima del matrimonio si è resa disponibile per farmi visitare la villa, conoscerci e aiutarmi a organizzare ogni dettaglio, dalla logistica ai parcheggi, collaborando anche con la mia wedding planner per fare in modo che tutto fosse perfetto.
E quando è finalmente arrivato il weekend del 22 agosto, ogni cosa è stata esattamente come l'avevo immaginata, se non ancora più bella. La mattina del matrimonio ci ha fatto trovare pasticcini e del buonissimo Prosecco, così da poter brindare e festeggiare insieme alla mia famiglia e a tutto il team che mi avrebbe accompagnata durante i preparativi.
E poi c'è la villa. Gli angoli meravigliosi, la sua eleganza, i dettagli antichi e quell'atmosfera senza tempo la rendono semplicemente magica. È stata la cornice perfetta per i preparativi di una bride-to-be, proprio come l'avevo sempre sognata. Ogni angolo sembrava fatto per essere fotografato e ha reso ancora più speciale ogni momento di quella mattina.
Villa Cliff è andata ben oltre qualsiasi mia aspettativa. È diventata molto più di un semplice luogo dove soggiornare: è stata parte della mia storia, dei miei ricordi e di uno dei giorni più importanti della mia vita.
E porterò sempre nel cuore un momento in particolare: le lacrime di Stefania quando mi ha visto scendere dalla bellissima scalinata della villa, pronta per uscire e andare in chiesa. È stato un momento spontaneo, vero e pieno di emozione, che non dimenticherò mai.
Grazie Stefania, grazie Villa Cliff, per aver reso ancora più speciale il weekend più bello della mia vita. ❤️

Goethe, Wagner, Knef – drei Deutsche feiern die Amalfiküste als ob sie bei Stefania und Vincenzo zu Gast gewesen wären! Wir sind noch ganz verzaubert von unserer Woche in ihrer „Casa Dominique“ mit der Terrasse hoch in der Krone und im Schatten der großen Pinie auf dem Dach des venezianisch anmutenden Herrenhauses, mit dem fantastischen Blick in die traumhafte Bade-Bucht und die pittoreske Kirche von Atrani. Auf und ab zur Straße oberhalb der Bucht geht’s mit dem Privatlift mit einer Zwischenstation: dem Zitronenhain.
Stefania und Vincenzo sind wunderbare Gastgeber in diesem Paradies! Wir haben zusammen ganz frischen Dentice im kleinen Fischladen im Nachbarort eingekauft, gelernt, wie man Fiori di zucca ripieni e fritti zubereitet (natürlich frisch gepflückt im eigenen Garten) und Stefanias Babà mit Rum getränkt.

Goethe, Wagner, Knef: tre tedeschi che celebrano la Costiera Amalfitana come se fossero stati ospiti di Stefania e Vincenzo! Siamo ancora completamente incantati dalla nostra settimana trascorsa nella loro “Casa Dominique”, con la terrazza situata in cima alla corona dell’edificio e all’ombra del grande pino sul tetto della dimora signorile in stile veneziano, con la fantastica vista sulla meravigliosa baia balneare e sulla pittoresca chiesa di Atrani. Si sale e si scende verso la strada che sovrasta la baia con l’ascensore privato, che fa una fermata intermedia: il limoneto.
Stefania e Vincenzo sono dei padroni di casa meravigliosi in questo paradiso! Insieme abbiamo comprato del dentice freschissimo nella piccola pescheria del paese vicino, abbiamo imparato a preparare i fiori di zucca ripieni e fritti (ovviamente appena raccolti dal loro orto) e abbiamo inzuppato il babà di Stefania nel rum.

Goethe, Wagner, Knef – three Germans celebrating the Amalfi Coast as if they’d been guests of Stefania and Vincenzo! We are still completely enchanted by our week at their ‘Casa Dominique’, with its terrace high up in the canopy and in the shade of the large pine tree on the roof of the Venetian-style mansion, offering a fantastic view of the idyllic bathing cove and the picturesque church of Atrani. The private lift takes you up and down to the road above the bay, with one stop along the way: the lemon grove.
Stefania and Vincenzo are wonderful hosts in this little slice of paradise! Together, we bought some very fresh dentice from the little fishmonger’s in the neighbouring village, learnt how to make ‘fiori di zucca ripieni e fritti’ (using courgette flowers freshly picked from their own garden, of course) and soaked Stefania’s babà in rum.

Amazing stay!!! The apartment was comfortable, welcoming, and well-equipped, with a BREATHTAKING sea view. The location was perfect, with everything within easy walking distance, including public transportation and a beautiful beach.
Stefania, the host, was very warm, attentive, and helpful. Special thanks also to Monica for her wonderful hospitality.
Breakfast on the garden terrace was delicious, and spending time around the villa was a real pleasure. Highly recommended ❤️
