We spent some wonderful days on the Amalfi Coast at the end of October. The ‘Le Sea House’ apartment contributed greatly to this and rounded off our stay perfectly.
Stefania and her husband were fantastic hosts in every way. They always had good suggestions for everything, whether it was excursions, restaurants or hikes. They also always responded quickly to my questions.
The apartment was very clean and well equipped. It had everything we needed. The fantastic view from the terrace was particularly special, with sweeping views of the blue sea, the small bay where we went swimming every day, and Atrani, the charming little village about a 10-minute walk away.
We will always have cherished memories of our time at Le Sea House and can highly recommend this accommodation.
I cannot express enough how much we loved this house and the hosts!
Initially we had considered staying in Atrani itself, but when we came across Le Sea House we knew this was the place for us. And we weren't wrong!
Though we aren't ones for self-catering on our holidays, we could certainly appreciate all the facilities. Everything you could possibly need is provided. With each bedroom and living area containing a separate air-conditioning unit.
The shower in the bathroom is a good size with a plentiful supply of hot water, and small bottles of toiletries are provided for your use.
On our arrival there was even a selection of sweet breakfast items and cereal, with milk, water and fruit juice in the fridge.
For us, the terrace was one of the main attractions of the house and I challenge anyone not to fall in love with that view!
The house is positioned just outside of Atrani above Castiglione beach. Partway up the hill towards Ravello. I was initially slightly concerned about the walk into Atrani, as we are in our late 50s and not the fittest! But we managed absolutely fine. You do have the option to use a walkway behind the house, which offers amazing views, but it does include some deep steps, so we much preferred using the lift down to the main road and walking that way to Atrani. There isn't much of a pathway, and the traffic is quite wild at times, but all drivers are very considerate of walkers and we never felt unsafe. 10 minutes gets you into Atrani and another 10 gets you to Amalfi. For any hikers, you can even walk up to Ravello - we took the bus that was easily accessed on the road below the house, with tickets that were helpfully provided by our hosts.
On that note, Stefania and Vincenzo are amazing hosts. They really couldn't be more helpful. If you choose to take advantage of their breakfast service, you won't regret it, with a range of sweet and savoury items on offer. The limoncello and mandarino made from their own fruit is amazing! As was the pasta meal that Stefania kindly offered to prepare for us on our last evening. They literally invite you into their own home and treat you like family!
In case you haven't gathered already, we cannot recommend this house highly enough. Book now! You won't regret it.
Stefania & her husband were amazing hosts in every way possible. My husband & I stayed in Le Sea House for our anniversary. The apartment was spotless and well stocked. It had everything we possibly needed. We arrived late but Stefania met us, got us settled & helped us arrange for transportation and we instantly felt at home like we were with family! She always responded quickly to my many questions.
The views were stunning and the location perfect. About a 10 minute walk to Atrani which was such a nice relaxing location (we spent more time there than anywhere else) and a 15-20 minute walk to Amalfi. From Amalfi you can catch transportation to a number of other places as well as tour the city itself but then return to the peace & quiet of your retreat. I am recommending her place to everyone I know. We will definitely be back as soon as we can!!! We miss her & the area already!
Notre séjour à la Villa Cliff House restera un souvenir fabuleux. Nichée entre mer et falaises, la propriété offre un cadre d’une beauté rare, suspendu entre ciel et mer, avec des vues à couper le souffle sur Atrani et la côte amalfitaine.
Au-delà de la splendeur du lieu, ce sont Stefania et Vincenzo qui ont rendu l’expérience vraiment unique. Leur accueil est d’une authenticité et d’une chaleur rares. Attentifs à chaque détail, ils font de cette maison un véritable havre de paix.
Les petits-déjeuners, pris face à la mer dans le jardin embaumé de fleurs et de citronniers, sont un pur bonheur. Les promenades, entre les sentiers, les escaliers et les villages suspendus, permettent de goûter à la vraie âme de la côte amalfitaine, loin du tumulte.
Nous avons adoré chaque instant : la beauté du lieu, le calme, la lumière, la gentillesse et conseils de nos hôtes pour vivre au mieux l'expérience amalfitaine ! Encore merci !
Un endroit où l’on se sent bien et privilégié, tout simplement.
